I found this idea a few days ago, and thought, “What a great way to keep my butt in the chair and write.” Then a dentist appointment came up, I cooked a bean with bacon soup from scratch, etc., etc., etc. (You get the idea.)
You guessed it, I’m struggling with my inability to sit still for very long. I get distracted easily. Is it ADD? ADHD?
Don’t know… don’t care. Bottom line, I–need–to–discipline–myself–to–sit–and–write.

Even now, my Dutch ovens call to me. Come fix dinner. They say, “Stop for a few minutes and come to the kitchen.”
It’s a siren song and it’s so alluring. I love to write and I love to cook. Cooking gives me quicker results so it’s harder to ignore—plus, we must eat. Right?
